Each one of my books contains 40 pages of eco-printed botanical images obtained by sandwiching foliage between sheets of 140 pound, quality watercolor paper and boiling for two hours with a mordant and a little bit of dye for a more dramatic rendering. This process imprints fantastic botanical images on each page which cannot be duplicated, making each one truly unique. It is exciting to discover the beautiful images this process produces, and I am constantly amazed. After the pages have been processed, I make hard-bound fabric covers for them, sew them into books, and make a tie closure by dying ribbon to match the book. These one-of-a-kind eco books are a treasure/heirloom for that special person in your life, and no one will have one like it.
