Here is a beautiful West German ceramic shallow platter bowl in chocolate brown with colorful details. The plate's surface is raised in an almost bamboo or sale bricks pattern with assorted colorful brushstrokes as accents. The sculptured edge is painted gold. The markings say GERMANY 1902/27 and a smaller stencilled gold mark says "made in Western Germany'. The platter is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing--a little vintage loss of gold paint on edges. 10-3/4" across.
