Welcome to The Old Curio Cabinet Antiques Shop,

We have for sale a 19th-century architectural drawing drawn and measured by John Clayton of the St. Mildred Church on Bread Street, a Baroque structure designed by Christopher Wren. The piece features several cross-section views. The St Mildred Bread Street church was originally built around 1252. It was badly damaged in the Great Fire of 1666, and rebuilt, using some of the surviving structure, by Wren in 1681-7, only to be substantially destroyed during an air raid, and subsequently demolished, in 1941. Percy Bysshe Shelley and Mary Wollstonecraft were married in the church in 1816. Only a parish boundary marker survives at its former site (actually, on Cannon Street). Many of the interior fittings salvaged from the church still survive in the church of St Anne and St Agnes.

This is possibly a page from The Works sale of Sir Christopher Wren. The Dimensions, Plans, Elevations, and Sections of the Parochial Churches book from the late 19th century.
