This sky blue Opal bracelet has been made by meticulously wire-wrapping each 6mm round gemstone with 935 Argentium Silver. Together with a 925 Sterling Silver bolt ring clasp, it would look beautiful on the wrist all year round. It is easy to wear and will make a perfect gift for a loved one or as a well-deserved treat for yourself. Our gemstones are a natural product and are all hand-cut, so there may be some slight differences between individual stones.

Opal, one of the birthstones for October, whose name means ‘precious stone', can be found in many different colours and levels of opalescence. Throughout history Opals have been considered to be both bad luck and good luck. They were as precious as Diamonds to the ancient Greeks and used in jewellery by the Romans. In Russia, the stone was considered to symbolise the Evil Eye.

In crystal healing Opal is thought to support emotions and stabilise mood swings which in turn helps a person to trust their own feelings. The fierier an opal is, it is said, will increase vitality, passion and zest for life sale.

Argentium 935 Silver is purer than Sterling Silver and finishes to a whiter, brighter shine which is comparable to that of fine silver.
