This earthenware planter is another take on the conventional strawberry planter with two side pockets that connect to the central part of sale the pot and a tray is added making watering possible from the top or bottom. This makes a great home for herbs on the window sill, houseplants or succulents. The color of the planter would show off forced daffodils or other bulbs. I used terra cotta (red) clay with a clear earthenware glaze over yellow underglaze. My name is stamped into the bottom of the tray.

The tray holds water but the bottom may sweat a little as the clay is porous like the ordinary flower pot so a pad of cork or a piece of foil cut to fit would be needed to protect fine furniture.

The approximate dimensions are 9" high, 8" wide and 11.25" long. This is one of two similar planters and the largest of the two.
