Vintage glass rare pink depression glass hen on nest covered dish. One version of the highly collectible colored “Hen on Nest” mid century pressed glass pieces that go by many names: glass chicken bowl, lidded butter server, nut, candy, trinket dish or catchall. It is unmarked and seems to be some discrepancy whether made by Indiana Glass or Westmoreland, but it is a prized piece in this peach color nonetheless. It has sale a large, oval shape with a beaded glass rim. It measures 7” long, 5.25” wide and when lidded has a height of 5." The bowl is 2” deep & scale is shown in photos. It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks. This piece fits perfectly with a farmhouse look and would be a great addition to any retro kitchen!
