Why do these flying saucers have "flashing lights?" That's how they fly. Or something like that. This spaceship is loosely based on the one in the movie, The Day the Earth Stood Still, which as every UFO-logist knows is actually a documentary. Don't make Gort angry, and always remember: klaatu barada nikto.

Please note: the "flashing lights" are decorative inlays only. They do not actually light up! (Although ... that gives us an idea.)

The caddy design incorporates the aesthetically pleasing 30-60-90 degree triangle to make the front facing round tool holders highly accessible. Built-in carry handles are both pleasing design elements and useful.

I've had mass-produced, factory-made tool caddies in the past. They all lacked style, personal touch, quality materials, or thoughtful design. Some were not sturdy or wobbled! And who knows who made them and where? My caddies are USA made in Tucson, Arizona, by me, using only American hardwoods and materials.

No stains or artificial colorizers are used. Just real, quality wood with naturally interesting colors and grain patterns. Finished with multiple coats of hand rubbed oil and polyurethane for durability.

Shipped direct to your workbench from the beautiful High Sonoran Desert of Arizona, where flying saucers are common (if saucing).

General Dimensions: Approximately 6 inches tall and 5.5 inches wide. Top two bigger holes are .375 inch diameter (for standard size screwdrivers and similar) and six front holes are .25 (smaller screwdrivers, files, picks, etc.). Lengths vary slightly, see photos, approximately 10".

Please note: Hand made and unique wood items may have minor flaws. In addition, we don't buy wood because it is plain. We buy it because it is interesting, unique, and shows off its natural beauty.
