A really stunning nightdress with beautiful features and lashings of exquisite hand embroidery on the double collar, cuff and bodice. There are also numerous tucks on the front bodice and a lovely tuck detail above the frill cuff. It fastens with 2 laundry type buttons down the front placket. At the bottom of the placket is a printed monogram. This lovely piece could have originally been a long gown and shortened over time but would certainly make a fabulous dress or nightdress. I don't often find gowns with this much beautiful work, it is a treasure!
