This is a Stamped Cross Stitch Picture "Be it ever so humble, there's no place like home."
The picture has a fireplace with a roaring fire, complete with a kitty sleeping by the hearth. The mantle is decorated with plants and a clock. "Be it ever so humble" is in the picture over the mantle and "no place like home" is in the center of the rug, which is completed in a chain stitch.
The stitching is nicely done and is on a cream nubby linen. The lettering is in warm shades and the frame is medium oak.
The piece is nicely framed and is ready to display. It is an open frame, without glass.
This picture has a great sentiment; just as appropriate today as when it was made. A nice accent with great warm, fall colors to add to your home!
This piece is an estate sale find in very nice vintage condition. The frame has a few nicks and scratches from age and use, but it still displays well. The paper on the back is in good shape. Please review photos for condition.
