These eggs can be made just for you!

AT LONG LAST - I've perfected a colorant for eggshells that works with my carving process. Over the years, many folks have requested eggs in a rainbow of colors; now I am proud to present this colorful collection Nature never intended! Offered for sale here are large goose eggs over 4 inches tall. They measure between 9 and 10 inches in circumference - circling top to bottom. A meandering flower and vine pattern will be cut over the entire shell as shown in the samples. In addition to natural white, I offer shades of blue, green, and berry. Please select from the menu above.

To accommodate fluctuations in my schedule - especially during holiday seasons - please allow me up to 3 weeks to complete and prepare your order for shipping.

I sketch a design on the clean blown shell and use a high-speed drill to hand carve the pattern you see illustrated. Each egg I create is unique. It is a wonder of nature; it is a rare and beautiful work of art.

All eggs come with complimentary stands and are beautifully packaged. They are wrapped with great care and shipped via USPS. If this is to be sent as a gift, alert me and I will remove pricing from the packing slip. Feel free to write a message to the recipient at checkout and I will include your remarks in a card.

Since the dawn of man, the egg has been associated with creation. Because they contain new life and such sale potential, eggs were seen as a tool of divination. Their size, shape, and contents were used to forecast the future. Christians regard the egg as a symbol of the risen Christ. Beautifully decorated Easter eggs are a common tradition throughout Christendom. The Victorians, fond of ornamentation, decorated their eggs with snippets of daily life: trade cards, ribbons, beads, and bits of old lace. The eggs I create today are etched or carved in patterns reminiscent of fine Victorian lace, and so I call these delicate, dainty works of art Victorian Lace Eggs.
