An ornate early 19th century Imari style porcelain footed cup and saucer, pattern #417 with a workman's cypher. Entirely hand painted in cobalt blue, russet and gilt on a white background. Probably Spode. English. Circa 1815.

Condition
No chips, cracks or crazing. Some loss of gilt primarily around the rim of the cup and saucer. There are slight variances in the glaze which occurred during manufacturing. This is commonly found on early 19th century fine china and is not considered damage but is noted.
