Vintage antique carved wooden Canvasback Duck decoy. Metal weight and loop on bottom, several layers of chippy paint, rather large at about 14.5" long. No legible signature or brand. Body seems solid, but head does not sit flush--it's not wobbly, but can be wiggled a little bit. Lots of sale chips, flaking, abrasions, etc. There are some nails directly in the front of the beak--as a counterweight? All in all a really cool piece in very rustic distressed poor condition.
