This is a very cool handmade piece. The markings are either Aztec or Spanish in nature. I have never seen anything quite like it. It does sale have remnants of dirt in the bottom. I haven't scrubbed it with fear of ruining it. It does have some type of glaze over it and seems to be waterproof.
