Dan Post Black Lizard sale Skin Boots [Vintage]

Dan Post Black Lizard Skin Boots, most probably of the Raleigh design. Beautiful black boots with black lizard skin foot, leather top, and round toe. Interior of the boots have a "Dan Post" label stitched in the right boot with a "MADE IN USA!" label on the opposite side. Each boot also has clearly legible stamped numbers. These numbers are as follows: sale "0906422", "16830", "8D", and a second line that includes "851, 4, 92". The only number that reveals itself of context is "8D", where this is most likely the size of the boots: a Men's size 8D. Boots currently retail for about $300.

Condition Note: These boots are in excellent condition, I dare say mint if not for a single peccadillo. This peccadillo is a small seem coming undone on the right boot, outer side. Where the lizard meets the leather, so to speak (pictured in last listing photo). They have been in proper storage for about 10 years.
