Handmade Cloth Fairy Doll, sale Tea Stained Canvas, Wired and Beaded Fairy Wings, Hot Pink Cashmere Yarn Hair, Dress, Under Garments and Necklace

This listing is for a handmade cloth doll. She is one of a kind. She is a pink winged fairy.

I made the doll body from tea stained ivory canvas. Her head, body and arms are one piece. Her legs have been sewn into the body. She is filled with hypoallergenic polyfil.

Her eyes are embroidered stitches topped with blue fired polished glass beads. Her mouth is pink felted wool in a heart shape. Her hot pink cashmere yarn hair is hand stitched to her head. She has a single ponytail in the back. Individual yarn strands are looped through the stitched hair surrounding her face.

She is wearing all handmade clothing. Her pantaloons are made from an iridescent plum red satin fabric which are edged with vintage floral woven trim. She has a camisole made from a lavender hand dyed piece of vintage lace. It ties on at the neck in the front. Her dress is made from a soft magenta velvet. It it edged at the neck, sleeves and hem with vintage lavender loop trim. The waist is purple woven trim with pompoms. There is a pink ruffle trim down the front with a pink jewel in a gold tone metal setting. The back closes with a vintage button and loop.

Her fairy wings are all handmade. They are made with layers of sheer fabrics and trims with wires set in between the layers. The wires are stitched in place so the the wings are bendable. At the end of each wire are various beautiful crystal and glass beads. I further embellished the wings and wires with glitter and fabric paints. The wings are stitched to a vest that is made from the same fabric as the pantaloons. The vest snaps in the front and is made to fit under the dress so that the wings fit through the back opening.

She is wearing a pink glass seed bead necklace.

This is a special doll. She is well made but probably not a good play toy for a child under 6 years of age. There are parts that could be swallowed and she would not hold up to rough play. She wants to be loved!
