This is a vintage/antique 1940's BELL SYSTEMS Western Electric F1 Black Metal Case Rotary Telephone. This is in untested condition. The wall cord appears to be in very good shape but would need to be re-wired for todays phone jacks. The body of the telephone looks very good showing most wear on the cradle. The rotary dial works correctly. The biggest flaw is the cord going into the handset is frayed. Not sure if that would affect the sound of left alone. It might have to be repaired to sale make the phone work properly. It appears that the bell inside the phone is working as it will ding when the phone is put down on a hard surface with minimal force. Nice collectible or restoration project.
