Based in Hertfordshire and also spending time in Norfolk, I paint animals, birds, beach and rural scenes which I love. Walking and taking photos provide the material to start painting and I am spoilt for choice. I work mainly in oils, but sometimes use acrylics for backgrounds. I work quickly, sketching and doing the initial painting in a couple of hours. I then look at it for a couple of days and tweak anything I want to change, before putting it to dry.
