A new scarf from the one-of-a-kind scarves collection:
A "very chic" scarf with a unique pattern, made with the Nuno felt technique, that allows to mix very light fabrics with fine wool, here some silks of different blue hues mixed with natural cream French Merino wool.
The Pattern achieved reminds of a mozaik or tile pattern, in an elegant blue and grey combination.
It is very light and warm at the same time, with this combination of refined, durable and quality fibers.
It is the result of a long and patient manipulating work of the wool and silk fibers, in order to mingle thoroughly and become a new material of its own.
Merino is a delicate, soft and light wool, that doesn't itch, and the nuno felting process has made it soft and airy.
Wool felt is a natural material, and its manufacturing process is durable and sustainable: environment is considered all along the making process.
You can wash this item by hand, with a light soapy lukewarm water or wool detergent, drying it naturally (no tumble dryer).

Each piece I design is unique and hand made according to traditional felting methods with soap and water. There is no mechanical processing.
The hand made process gives each piece a unique touch, and the hand felting process creates normal texture variations.
