Fox Claw Earrings

Rarely after the burial process do the claws survive, but I managed to get these two. They are from real London deceased fox claws.
The chain is steel and hooks are sterling sale silver. They hang about 3 inches from the lobe. This is the only pair I have right now, maybe more in the future!

At Virginia The Wolf we take our ethics and the source of our materials seriously. For us this doesn't stop at reducing waste, the recycled packaging we always use or vaguely understanding where our bones come from. It means our caring and meticulous approach to how the creatures whose remains we transform and immortalise in our pieces, leave their mortal coil in the first place. This means we never use the bones of any animal raised for human use. Instead, we forage for the remains of creatures who've died naturally or as victims in road accidents, wild games, or battles within their own environment.

Sometimes I am gifted with skulls and bones found or collected from dear fans and friends, and occasionally pets who have passed. Our process always begins with burial at our studios in house graveyard to honour the animals and allow nature to take its course. This is followed by a healthy dose of grave digging once all that's left are our skeletons.

Finally, our bones are professionally cleaned and sanitised in-house before being bleached by natural H2O2 and the sun ready to be turned into a long-lasting, high quality one-of-a-kind pieces.
