If you like drinking herbal tea that combine your own home grown herbs, place them in the filter inside the ceramic mug and pour in boiling water. Cover the mug to let the tea brew. Before drinking you can remove the filter and place it in the mug's cover. While the tea is still brewing, you can cover the mug so that your tea keeps boiling hot. When you're ready to drink, your tea will be just at the right temperature.
The plate is optional.
The elegant shape and ergonomic handle, together with the balanced weight of the mug, will make your coffee or tea break something to look forward to during your busy day.

My mugs are handmade by me on the potter's wheel. I can create them by order in any size (espresso mugs, cappuccino mugs or medium-sized cups or mugs with or without matching saucers) and in any glaze that you may see on other items in my shop. My work is designed and created with much love, always with the utmost consideration for its use.
This item is made from ceramic stoneware and is fired to a temperature of 1200 degrees celsius (2192 Fahrenheit).
It is glazed with lead-free and food safe glazes and is ideal for use in the oven and microwave but not over an open flame.
It is dishwasher safe.
If the item is out of stock, I can make another one, but the new item may vary slightly in size. That's the beauty of handmade objects.
I work alone and hope you understand that creating new items will take approximately 4 to 6 weeks.
