Real opals are very soft stones and are scratched very quickly while resin simulated opals do not scratch very easily. sterling silver is Stamped 925 and XRF tested this is a beautiful beautiful ring sale. very hard to part with cabochon measures .4" by .25" Ring face is .75" long.
