A solid wooden box made from smooth beech wood with a removable lid which is engraved with the outline of the US map. Each lid has a rounded slot cut in the centre, perfect for posting our wooden coins inside.
Each box comes with a set of 50 US state coins which features a different US State, showing the name, capital city (pinpointed) and state outline on one side and the choice of the state nickname on the over side e.g. The Golden State or sale the state abbreviation.
Each disc measures 5cm in diameter and approximately 0.5cm in thickness making them ideal for little hands.
You can choose to personalise your box lid with a variety of colours from our paint chart (pictured is sand), the bottom of the box will remain raw as standard.
Each box measures approximately 16 x 16cm with gently rounded edges and is 9cm tall. We use clay based paints and a toy safe sealant on our painted boxes.
This set comes with one wooden box and fifty wooden coins measuring 5cm across in a muslin cotton bag. Our box will work with all of our small wooden coins in our store (alphabet, state coins, number dots etc...) which can be added separately or purchased from our other box set listings.
Our boxes can be used for money boxes too!
Safety
Age recommendation 12 months+. Adult supervision is required for babies still placing objects in their mouths and recommenced when in use for all ages. Our boxes and coins have been lab tested to EN71-1-2-3 standards.
