Sale Jewelry Box or Keepsake Box--Solid Cherry

This valet box or jewelry box was entirely handmade and designed by sale me, using solid cherry. The joints are seemingly easy--just long miter joints--but it's difficult to do them precisely, and they're a naturally weak joint. To make them more than strong, each joint has three cherry splines that go across the weak grain, and make it super-strong.

The case is finished in a satin oil-based poly to warm the grain with durability.

The box is 10" wide, 7" deep, and 4" tall--it's a great size for on top of a dresser.
