1878 Mechanics & sale Agricultural Fair Association New Orleans Complimentary Ticket. This is a very nice piece of antique paper ephemera! This is a complimentary admission ticket for the SEVENTH GRAND STATE FAIR for The Mechanics and Agriculture Fair Association of Louisiana. The ticket has some wear and discoloration as expected with a ticket of this age. The ticket measures approximately 5.5" x 3.25". The paper is in very good condition structurally. There is an inscription on the bottom that reads "open from April 23rd to April 29th 1878. - Luther Homes. The signature of Luther Homes is hand written. No name was ever written on to the recipient line. This is an excellent piece of American state fair history and would be a wonderful addition to any collection! All items are professionally packed and shipped.
