Rusty Thicketbird, Original 1881 Hand-Painted sale Lithograph by J Smit, Rare Antique Bird Print

Rusty Thicketbird (Ortygocichla Rubiginosa) protecting its egg. Original antique stone lithograph by Dutch zoological illustrator, Joseph Smit. Hanhart completed the impression and then it was beautifully water colored by hand over 150 years ago. It is rare and finely detailed lithograph that was produced for the 1881 Proceedings of the Zoological Society of London.

Dimensions (sheet size):
Approx. 6-1/2" x 8-1/2"

Condition:
Very good. It is clean with wonderful original hand color.

It will be packaged in a plastic sleeve on a backing and will ship within a rigid mailer for protection.
