Charming Antique French Bronzed Spelter on Marble Swallow Bird on Marble Paperweight Decor

c1920s A sweet Swallow bird statue sat on a marble base, possibly one half of a bookend although this was found on its own. Made from a solid bronzed spelter with lovely detail to the feathers and face. Sat on a heavy cream marble base with a worn baze to the underside. The perfect decorative statue or paperweight.

In excellent condition no chips or cracks a little verdigris to the base of the bird - see all photographs.

Measurements:

Base - 5" x 3" (12.1/2 x 7.1/2 cms)
Overall height - 4.1/2" (11.1/2 cms)
Weight - 800 grms without careful packaging
