Portraits are painted on stretched canvas, which can be framed by you or left unframed. If you'd like a larger size, please contact me for quote.

Canvas depth is 19mm and your painting will be supplied satin varnished and ready to hang. Paintings are dispatched securely protected. UK delivery is free. Overseas delivery depends on country and size of paintings, please contact me for a quote. All my paintings are in acrylic paint sometimes a little mixed media added. I use sustainably made canvases. They are suitable to hang anywhere in the house.

The gift voucher option can be sent by email to be printed by you or I can post directly to your recipient.

How the process works:

All I need to work from is 1-3 photographs including a headshot. The better the photographs, the better end painting - so please supply good quality, clear photos to sixtynorth [!at] aol.com. Then advise me which photo you prefer to be painted and whether you would like it painted with the canvas horizontal or vertical.

Lead time is around two weeks to dispatch.

After the preparatory drawing I begin painting. I work on the outline, the positioning and some of the colour. When I get to a certain stage I will then message you with your 'COMMENTS' photographs. This 'COMMENTS' message allows you to see how I'm getting on. At this stage, we discuss any changes you might like to make.

Next I will message you with your “PLEASE APPROVE” photographs before dispatch. I will make sure that you are happy with your portrait before it leaves my workroom.
