No stains. No handwriting or stamps (except POS on 1st pg., AND inscription which reads sale, "Life is special to me.

It is a sort of splendid torch which I have got a hold of for the moment and I want to make it burn as brightly as possible before handing it on to future generations - GBS" This is a quote of the author, NOT in his handwriting. DJ: none. Blue boards with an original binding sticker. Some wear to panels and spine. Binding intact and tight.

Vol.1 Plays Pleasant: 'Arms and the Man', 'Candida', 'The Man of Destiny', 'You Never Can Tell'. Vol. 2 Plays Unpleasant: 'Widowers' Houses', 'The Philanderer', Mrs. Warren's Profession'. Both in red cloth boards with titles gilt to spine, and with only slight wear and discoloration at edges.

Both price-clipped d/ws, buff with black and pink typography, have edge wear and small damage to corners spine ends and rubbing to edges, but are complete o/w. Inside, both volumes are very clean and tight
