WE BUNDLE ORDERS! THIS crystal Corona Bowl was designed by Lars Hellsten for the Swedish glassworks Orrefors in the 1970s. Made sale of high-quality artistic crystal in the shape of a hexagonal crown placed on a round base. About 5 3/4" wide x 3 7/8" tall Lars Hellsten studied sculpture and ceramics at the College of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm and joined Orrefors in 1972. At a time when the Swedish glass industry was structurally, technologically and artistically related. Playing an integral role in this period of creative change, Lars brought new design ideas and new techniques to glass manufacturing as well as revitalizing older processes. The artistic vision and technical innovations of Lars Hellsten have made him one of the modern masters of glass design. His works are represented in permanent collections and exhibitions of museums around the world. Lars Hellsten glass is characteristically chunky and strong.
