1950s Brocade Sheath DRESS & JACKET SET

Authentic vintage late 1950s to early 1960s textured brocade sheath dress with matching short jacket. This is an elegant and sophisticated Jackie O style set! Gorgeous brocade fabric in a bright emerald green and cobalt blue. Classic sheath style dress, with a defined, nipped in waist, and bust darts. There is an interesting cut out feature at the neck, and a waking pleat in the back. Cropped jacket has is collarless, and has a frog style closure. Both pieces are fully lined
and have a slight Asian sale flair, so popular in that era!

Perfect ensemble for any special event or cocktail party.

No tags at all. I believe it is rayon, and likely made in Hong Kong.


55++ year old set - the dress is in EXCELLENT condition. No stains, spots, rips, tears or other issues to note. The jacket has one tiny hole in the back, pictured.
