A 807 TUBE SHORTWAVE HIGH PERFORMANCE REGEN RADIO CRYSTAL CLEAR

This is a very nice one tube, handcrafted, vintage style, high-performance shortwave
regenerative radio. The radio is a very interesting and special type, a
807 transmitting tube which runs on 750 Volts has been used
in the regen radio and the unit operates on 6 Volts DC only.
This radio utilizes a LM386 AF amplifier with 0.5 watts
output so you don't need to use headphones. The tube is located on the top of the radio,
so you can watch the glowing tube while listening.
Nothing can compare to the thrill you will
have sitting in a darkened room, lit only by the barely perceptible glow of the single
vacuum tube, while listening to your favorite shows, or distant DX stations, on this little
One Tube Radio.
This great looking, high quality
vintage style radio is designed to be just like homebrew radios that were built in the
1930s and 1950s by radio hobbyists in the great vacuum tube era.

I am an experienced radio receiver and transmitter builder, constructing radios for more
than 40 years, so you can buy confidently.
You will get a very good performance within it's frequency
coverage. This radio runs on 6 Volts DC, a good quality DC power supply can serve for it.
Volume is very good and lots of stations
can be picked up even with a short antenna (min. 5 meters)
