This large umbrella has a handle that is a combination of horn and sterling silver and in a previous life the handle was part of a carving set. It has been reclaimed, reworked, up-cycled and joined together with a new umbrella to create a wonderful gift that would sit well in any umbrella stand. In fact in will stand out and really make a statement of the owners style, class and status. The handle is fully hallmarked for Sheffield, England, 1897 and has the initials GHB for the makers mark.
This handle works well with the large size umbrella that I offer, that is the gentleman's umbrella. These London made umbrellas are made by a company with over 200 years experience and sale only the best fabrics are used.
The range of poly-cotton umbrellas is slowly coming to an end as the fabric importer no longer supplies this product. So as the stock diminishes they wont be replaced. Sorry about that. We are therefore moving over to polyester where we aim to offer all the most popular colours. I no longer have black polycotton. Eventually the other polycotton colours will run out too. I do however have black polyester.
