Because I use upholstery fabric, the covers are nice and sturdy and lay nicely on the back of any chair. Each fabric edge is Zigzag stitched (when needed to prevent fraying) and then top stitched twice for a nice flat edge. I sew each corner with a diagonal stitch for reinforcement against wear and tear. Upholstery materials are not like dress fabrics; they are made for whatever your life demands. CLEANING CARE: Hand wash with a mild soap; clip to pant hanger to air dry. Vinyl Covers usually only need to be wiped with a damp sponge. You can iron upholstery material, just start on the back hem with low heat and work up to medium heat. For Vinyl Covers: You can iron the back material but don’t touch the Vinyl hem or lay it in the sun for a short while to warm the Vinyl and the creases normally come out. Non-Skid Kits: They can be hand washed or wiped with a wet sponge. The Velcro will stay on and makes it easy alignment when reattaching Kit to Cover.SALES TAX: If item is shipped to a FL STATE address, Sales Tax will be added at check out.
