The ultimate in plain black pumps. Plain black satin with a 3.5 inch Spanish heel. Classic early to mid 30s cut, lined in cotton, soled in leather.
No labels, just a repeat order number which suggests they may have been sold by one of the big shoe stores such as Dolcis or Lilley & Skinner who were pioneers of the in stock system.

Very good condition just a few minor scuffs.

Vintage shoe sizes can vary a lot, both from modern and contemporary sizes, depending where and when they were made and design details such as the shape of the toe and height of the heel.
There are also differences in modern comparison charts depending on which country you live in. I will always quote my estimate of a modern equivalent and list the length and width in inches so you can compare them to a pair that fits you.

They are all wearable unless otherwise stated. I check that the soles and uppers are well glued, that any synthetic soles are flexible and there is a decent amount of heel tip left.
If they have been re-heeled and soled I will tell you. Any faults will be noted. I usually polish/clean them where needed.
I try to date them honestly. I won't tell you they're 30s if they're 50s, etc etc.
