If your looking for texture this stoneware moon jar will not disappoint. Its made from a groggy black stoneware clay. Wheel thrown and wood fired in a 2 chamber anagama kiln. The interior is glazed with with a dark reddish brown glaze that has a leathery appearance. The exterior is left unglazed really showing off the nature of the clay.
This round moon vase stands
5 1/2 inches tall by 5 1/2 inches wide.
All of my pieces are handmade and unique to themselves. I do make some similar things but they will always very slightly in size, color and markings.
