This gorgeous plaque is hand carved from a single piece of Suar wood which is sustainable.
In Norse mythology, Geri and Freki are two wolves which are said to accompany the god Odin.
They sale are attested in the Poetic Edda, a collection of epic poetry compiled in the 13th century from earlier traditional sources.
Odin—also called Wodan, Woden, or Wotan, is one of the principal gods in Norse mythology. His exact nature and role, however, are difficult to determine because of the complex picture of him given by a wealth of archaeological and literary sources. Near the end of the pre-Christian period, Odin was the principal god in Scandinavia.
As each item is individually carved from wood there will be variations in the colour and wood grain, so please allow for minor differences from photo in the wood, this adds to it's authenticity, ensuring you have a genuine hand - made product and not a mass factory produced item.
