Absolutely stunning antique cut crystal carafe sale from the American Brilliant Period (ABP). ABP pieces were manufactured between 1886 thru 1916. This carafe features the iconic and highly desirable Strawberry Diamond Fan cut crystal decoration on a heavy blank. The neck has a flared opening that is faceted as it tapers down to the bulbous body. The neck features three rowed horizontal line cuts and vertical zipper cuts at each faceted edge. This turn of the century cut glass decanter measures approximately 8" tall and 6" diameter at its widest point. The glass carafe is in excellent condition. There is minor scratching on the bottom of the decanter from table top contact and noted two very small chips on the diamond points. Beautiful collectible glass decanter/carafe. Gift worthy.
