Paris in Love by Artist:
Janice Zornes
Her work is influenced by past masters such as Claude Monet, Vincent Van Gogh, Paul Gauguin , Pierre-Auguste Renoir, and many others that worked in the past in a variety of subject and media sale. She is a self-taught artist. God's blessed her with the gift of painting.

The wonderful wild web is today's new frontier. An artist can reach far and wide to communicate with clients and make new connections all over the world now. Janice has had in work showed and sold in many parts of the USA. Over 160 gift stores, major department stores, amusement parks. Her art has been sold to many dignitaries, politian's, Hollywood celebrities, and the like. Hospitals and other non-profit fund raisers have featured her art for center pieces and for promotions.

Her expressions come from her life and memories. She travels enthusiastically as often as she can, both close to home and across the ocean. Taking photos of scenery then painting them are a favorite pastime, which sets an excellent foundation for creating authentic work.

Soft flowers and rich color are her signature. Delicious paint applied generously by brush strokes capture the essence of a particular views and vignettes.

Janice was born in Connecticut, spent many summers at the East Coast of Canada overlooking Prince Edward Island. She was raised mostly in Southern California. Two distinct histories to draw a wealth of inspiration from. An at home cottage feel and gorgeous scenery inspiration came from Canada the flowers from California. Her art has been part of her since she first finger painted in Kindergarten. In the early 90's painting and designing home accessories was the main focus and it is when painting became a full time passion. Janice recently moved to Northern California where she had the opportunity to re-start her art studio again.
