Messenger is a great travel bag, easy access to inside while magnet on outer bag keeps flap closed. Internal pockets offer compartments on either side of bag also a large 13" center sale zippered pocket large enough for Ipad, books and stuff...bag is light weight but durable. Heavy duty topstitching on leather at sides of bag, brass nail heads at side leather shoulder strapping which connects to brass clasp and d-ring, 1 1/2" wide webbing cross body strap connects to brass clasp and same d-ring as shoulder strap. Front leather pull attaches to magnet for easy grab open and close
