Vintage needlepoint stocking. This Christmas stocking features an angel with wings playing a lyre with doves at the bottom. Her face and arms are done in petit point. There are gold metallic thread accents throughout. The reverse side of the stocking is red velvet and the inside of the stocking is lined in a red cotton fabric. There is an Imperial Elegance tag inside. The stocking measures 16" long, 18 3/4" on the diagonal, and 7" wide at the opening. From heel to toe, it measures 10". Good condition. Please refer to the last photo which shows a tiny smudge on the right edge near sale the opening.
