John Wesley Hilton started the tradition around the time of the Civil War in Newton, NC.

This piece by John A. Hilton is signed on the base and this piece has the traditional letter H on the inside base

12" Tall. Rim is 8". Base is 6".

Base, rim and handles are all perfect.

No cracks to the body.
