- Cinchona, a sale small tree native to the slopes of the Northern Andes from which quinine, a famous preventive remedy for malaria, is derived from the bark.
- Esquine, medicinal plant, native to China of the family of Sarsaparillae, having sudorific virtues.
Beautiful original print in mezzotint, hand-colored, engraved by Johann Jacob Haid (1704-1767) and from the famous Florigium Phytanthoza Iconographia by Johann Wilhelm Weinmann, apothecary and botanist and published by H. Lentz and H. G. Neubauer between 1735 and 1745.
Handmade cream carton: 40 x 50 cm.
