The Royal Game of Ur is an ancient board game found in an archaeology dig of the royal tombs of Ur in ancient Mesopotamia, dating from the first dynasty of Ur, before 2600 BC. This is a racing/fighting game for two players, played with original rules just as it was meant to be played in ancient times.

Every single segment of this particular Royal game of Ur is carefully made by hand in high detail, in order to capture and provide the long-forgotten Mesopotamian feeling and style.

The game contains the original Babylonian décor and ornaments, but with our little rustic touch and design. Everything is made from quality wood, every line has been done carefully in pyrography, painted with acrylic paint, and protected with varnish.

This game is great fun and entertainment, as well as a beautiful gift for any occasion. ♦ MATERIALS
This Royal game of Ur (Path to eternity) is made from plywood (playing table) and wooden pedestal, specifically and carefully hand illustrated with pyrography, paint, and varnish.

The playing pawns are made from sawn wooden branches. They come in two different sets for two players, in two distinguished colors.

The game includes 3 (+1 for reserve) wooden, uniquely designed throwing tokens, which are used instead of tetrahedral dice.

♦ GAME ACCESSORIES
The Game of Ur comes with a handmade playing mat - intended for throwing tokens. This mat is made from light suede; decorated, painted with ink, and quilted with threads. When not in use, the mat itself comes as a little bag for playing pieces. Also, we included the gameplay rules and our background story (which follows the design of the game).
