This gorgeous Japanese KOKESHI doll is simply stunning! Hand-carved and hand-painted, she is dressed in a traditional kimono that is decorated with a black, gold, pink and white sash and bright orange and sale white flowers. Her hair is cut into a bowl cut with a pom-pom on top that is decorated with and orange and white, diamond-shaped motif. Her face is simple: just s tiny orange hint of a nose and eyes closed, showing black eyelashes. This beautiful Japanese woman measures approximately 9.5” tall and is in fine, vintage condition with no damage. There is a tiny indentation on the top of the pompom, but we believe that it was made that way rather than the result of damage. Do you collect these Japanese KOKESHI dolls?
