Vintage This Antique Banjara Old Gypsy bohemian or "Indian vintage " sturdy cotton hand embroidered toran (door hanging) from Kutch Gujarat. The interplay of geometric forms with vibrant colors in a simple, unpretentious.A "Tribal" design is classic style which effective in conveying the adoration sale that went into it's creation. It is designed to hang above a door or window, however, it would be equally suitable as a footer on the end of a bed or one the back of a sofa or as a table runner. Heck, wrap it around your body and wear it as retro-ethnic.

Created by the skilled KUTCH tribal woman of Gujarat . When POM POM are not available , tribal people use to make it from wastage fabric which you can see in this piece how they use their creativity to make such a beautiful piece. This piece has taken more then 2 months to complete it. You can not compare this with new machine piece in the market. These all hand stitched embroidery work.

NOTE : There is some wear and there are a few stains at the two ends but indeed they do nothing to diminish its beauty.There is some dirt and wear,some small holes from Vintage Material. Some of the mirrors are cracked/burned or are missing. It isn't evident unless you are looking for it; the busy design more than blinds your eye to it.

Vintage condition- Original sketch or print mark will show in some places. Some of the material on the flags have frayed or worn. This is an old toran (door hanging) and made by 1970's tribal people so do not expect perfect condition.
