Sterling silver scroll cuff bracelet with five bright blue glass cabochons. Classic piece of Mexican silver that dates before 1980 -- the assay eagle was no longer used after then. The sale soldered joints are all solid, and the crevices have a rich patina. Glass cabs are tight in their bezels and in good shape. The center circle is very slightly bent (see photo 9), most likely from adjusting the cuff. Not noticeable when worn and not at all unusual in a 40+ year old silver cuff. ♦ Dimensions: Inner circumference is 6.5 inches including gap (16.5 cm). Gap is 1 inch (2.7 cm). Height 1.25 inches (3 cm). Cabochons are 13 mm in diameter. Weight is 40.5 grams. ♦ Markings: Taxco Mexico 925 Sterling assay Eagle 3 and Quinto, which means "stamp." There is no reference to any maker named "Quinto" in Bille Hougart's book, so I'm not sure what this refers to.
