Antique sale Victorian miniature pair ambrotype photo of a couple man and wife family photograph portrait in hanging case

Here is a wonderful pair of ambrotype photos of a man, wife and child, probably from the later 1800s.

This lovely pair of ambrotype black and white photographs are of most likely of a couple man and wife wearing period clothing in one, the other they are joined by a child as seen in the photos. Framed and sale cased separately behind glass, mounted in gold metal and red fabric, they both come housed in a case one black the other red, covered in thin paper with embossed gilt pattern detail to the front, little brass hanging loop to the top of each. They are in good condition for there age but do show signs of wear, rubbing and wear to the cases, normal wear and marks throughout, please see all the photos as they are a true representation of the condition. A brilliant find in this rare miniature size.
