Artvark Gallery Forged Steel Designer Collector Salad Serving Set Big Spoon History: After designer Theresa Jo completed her residency at Cité Internationale des sale Arts in Paris (1985-86), she came home to Cape Town, South Africa and created her handmade cutlery in 1988. This was the start of her Artvark Gallery which creates and sells the folk art of South Africa. Theresa Jo's cutlery designs are in the collections of Paloma Picasso, MoMA and Donna Karan, to name just a few. Description: The large serving spoon is created of brass with the handle representing a queen, inlaid with red copper. The bowl of the spoon is silver plated with a bright finish to a thickness of 33 microns. Stamped "Artvark" on the reverse side and is stored in its own dark brown cloth bag with the name Jacaranda.
