It appears that the heavily textured stones may have been treated with some type of coating to match the sheen of sale the tumbled/polished ones. I do believe these are turquoise stones rather than dyed howlite; the drilled holes show consistent color. The necklace measures about 21-22" and it is heavy weighing in at 235 grams.
