Beautiful piece of North American History! Rare, custom Sacagawea and Horse Dollar Pendant. This piece is handmade using a hard to sale find Authenticated Uncirculated 2012 Horse Dollar mounted in a 14k gold filled coin edge bezel with a soldered bail. The bail will accept up to a 5mm chain. There is a specially designed screw across the top to hold the coin in securely. For this unique coin pendant, the reverse of of the coin is featured of a Native American chief with his horse. Other horses are running within the background, representing the historical spread of the horse. On the back of the pendant features the front of the coin of Sacagawea holding her infant son, Jean Baptiste, born on the Lewis + Clark Expedition. As you can see the Native American man and horse is featured with this pendant and front of the coin (Sacagawea) is upside down to the back. Pendant is 1" in diameter. There is silver peeking through on bezel where the jeweler solders it together. Not a flaw. :).
